From the grungy outfit and makeup all down to his vocal range, Adam Lambert completely slayed his rendition of “Hot Patootie” (originally sung by Meatloaf) as Eddie on The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do The Time Warp Again FOX film.

After the movie premiered, the official Rocky Horror Facebook page released the “Hot Patootie” performance into a 3-minute music video. In the video Adam comes in on a motorcycle, shows some love to his girlfriend (Columbia played by Annaleigh Ashford), then goes straight on stage with a full band to back him up. Within the video viewers get to witness Adam’s vocal skills, stage presence, and his well known theater background all in full effect.

Throughout the video set on a stage for a good portion of the time, viewers also see stars such as Laverne Cox, Victoria Justice, Ryan McCartan, Staz Nair, and Christina Milian featured.

Adam’s character in the video slightly reflects Elvis Presley’s rock star image as he continues to sing to his love interest and crowd surf a bit, all while surrounded by dancers. Ironically the video ends with Laverne’s character (Dr. Frank-N-Furter) killing Eddie, leaving Columbia in shock. Pretty bad*ss way to end a music video huh?
