Kevin McGuire is back! The fast-rising Scottish country-pop singer/songwriter today (Friday, August 9th) returns with brand new single ‘The Night Is Young’. This is the first taste of new music from the multi-talented vocalist and instrumentalist since he shared ‘As Good As It Gets’ back in February of this year.

Now, following 6 months of hard work in the recording studio, McGuire is back with a bang. His latest offering is an American country-sounding pop-infused anthem that will have fans singing along from the very first line.

This is a song that the likes of Sam Hunt and Kane Brown would be proud of releasing and the fact that we have this amazing talent coming through the ranks here in the UK showcases the strength of the ever-growing country music scene Britain has.

But while it definitely has that US vibe, it still manages to keep ties to the homegrown sound and Kevin McGuire’s gravel enriched vocals deliver a striking backdrop to the poppy sounding overlays of the production.

This is without doubt Kevin’s best release to date and proves that these several months spent locked away in the studio penning new music have been well and truly worth it for the rising star.
