Ryan Lawrie Leaves The X Factor

May 2024 · 1 minute read

Week seven of X Factor was dedicated to songs from movies and the top six gave performances that could classify as cinematic masterpieces.

As the results came in, it was revealed that rapper Honey G and Scottish singer Ryan Lawrie had received the fewest votes from the public. They would therefore battle against each other in the infamous sing-off.

Ryan Lawrie chose to sing Ed Sheeran’s hit ‘Lego House’.

Honey G decided to do a mashup of a Missy Elliott song and her own original song she sang at the auditions.

Deciding who had to stay in the competition, the four X Factor judges were in a seemingly difficult decision. However, all of them, except Nicole Scherzinger who chose to back her own contestant, decided to keep Honey G in the show. With that decision, we, unfortunately, had to say goodbye to Ryan.

Thank you for the music, Ryan! You will be dearly missed on the show.
