The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) has certainly done his research when it comes to Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) love life. In the June 15 episode, Cameron runs down the list of all the men who have let Sharon down – including Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso).

It’s interesting that Cameron is bringing up Rey’s name, especially since the circumstances of Rey’s death were always so odd and suspicious. The news of Rey’s demise came out of nowhere.

Rey was a seemingly healthy guy who was having an average day when he suddenly had a heart attack behind the wheel – at least according to the coroner.

That led to a car crash, but Rey’s heart attack was the official cause of death. Of course, we now have to consider if maybe there was a deeper reason why that heart attack happened.

It’s possible Rey was drugged or poisoned with something that didn’t show up in the coroner’s report. The coroner could’ve been bribed not to include it – or maybe it was something untraceable.

Knowing Cameron and what he’s capable of, we could totally buy the idea that he wanted Sharon’s husband out of the way.

Cameron has been obsessed with Sharon for years and obviously kept up with everything going on in her life.

It makes sense that Cameron might’ve been jealous of Sharon’s marriage and plotted to take Rey out. Cameron might’ve hoped it would pave the way for him to swoop in and comfort Sharon.

However, Cameron wound up back in prison for assaulting his Sharon lookalike girlfriend, who was no doubt a poor imitation in his eyes.

That second prison stint may have thrown off Cameron’s plans and forced him to return later than he intended.

Then again, Cameron might’ve decided he wanted a strong and feisty Sharon – not a weeping widow.

Giving Sharon time to grieve and move on might’ve been part of the plan all along.

Whatever the case, many Y&R fans wouldn’t be surprised if Rey’s heart attack was brought on by something nefarious.

Someone who worked for Cameron could’ve easily slipped Rey a drug in something he ate or drank. It might’ve caused Rey’s cardiac episode on the road and set that whole disaster in motion.
