Twenty One Pilots Drop Music Video for 'Chlorine'

June 2024 · 2 minute read

After teasing fans with small video clips across their social media, Twenty One Pilots have released the music video for ‘Chlorine’, taken from their latest album Trench.

The video was meant to release later than it did, but the band tweeted out that they couldn’t wait any longer – or that Ned couldn’t wait any longer.

The video sees Tyler and Josh filling up an empty, deserted swimming pool with a garden hose. But in true Twenty One Pilots fashion, it doesn’t take long for the video to take an odd turn and for us to put our thinking caps on; chlorine tanks and the introduction of a character called Ned, who seems to have a great significance in the video.

Twenty One Pilots wrapped on the first half the Bandito tour in the US and Australia/New Zealand at the end of 2018. The second half of the tour will take place in Europe over the next few months, before heading back to the US for a second leg. If you can’t attend a headline show, the band have been announced for a number of festivals, including Reading and Leeds Festival, Lollapalooza and Sziget Festival. Remaining tickets to the Bandito tour and full tour dates are available here.
